You’ll Find A Way

May 20th, 2008 · No Comments

I had my interview at ArtSpace this morning, an awesome non-profit gallery space (spaces?) in downtown New Haven.  If all goes well I will be the design intern for the summer.  I’m real excited about it, I should know by the end of the week.  They have an excellent exhibition up in Gallery 1 called Pretty Things: Confronting Sensuousness, one of my favorite pieces from the show is Phyllis Bramson’s Naughty Little Things:

It has an awesome eastern tattoo vibe going on and some great mixed media details; including sequins which you may or may not know are one of my favorites. If you live in Connecticut you should roll through and check out the Pretty Things exhibition and the other shows going on in ArtSpace’s other galleries.

I left feeling inspired, and I am still feeling so 8 hours later.  I spent the rest of my day buying new bedding, researching and planning my future ikea hack, going to the dentist, cleaning my room, researching a few galleries, posting useless myspace bullitens and enjoying the perfect nap weather.
