Faux-Beau is Kathryn Proulx
Faux-Beau is designed, coded, and written by me, Kathryn Proulx, a senior in Communication Design at Parsons School of Design in New York City. In terms of design I have a focus in editorial deisgn and web design/development, I also enjoy silkscreening and illustration. I've interned at W Magazine and ArtSpace, a contemporary art gallery in New Haven, Connecticut. Im still inspired to learn something new about typography and design everyday. I currently live in Connecticut with my boyfriend and commute to New York by train 3 days a week.
Faux-Beau is You
Faux-Beau is intended for artists, designers, aspiring and practicing design students, and creative people in general to be inspired to create, learn, and progress on their own creative journey. I encourage current students or recent grads to submit your work to be published on the siteI am interested in giving exposure to the up-and-commers that are usually overlooked by bigger design blogs. Along with posting others work, a big part of this blog is about my own progress on breaking into the design industry. It includes snippets from my everyday life; being an intern, student, and aspiring full-time designer.
