Remember this post?  Well to update you on what’s going on with me:

If you haven’t noticed yet, there is a new ‘upcoming exhibitions’ section on the sidebar of KSP4FB.  I’m so excited!  I will have a piece or two featured in the CONNcentric show at ArtSpace.  The show opens October 2nd and is up through December 15th!  In the meantime I will be getting ready for my very first solo show at this awesome shoe boutique/art gallery in New London called MUSE.  That show will be up in February 2009 (I don’t have the exact dates yet)… just in time for Valentines Day—my favorite holiday of the year!

After interviewing last Wednesday, I found the perfect internship! I’ll be interning 2-3 days a week at W magazine in the design department.  I am psyched, if you didn’t know, being the art director of W is one of my dream jobs.

I got in touch with my counselor at Parsons and I have to admit—he hooked it up!  He might place me in a Publication Design elective before the beginning of the school year, but as of right now I’m taking:

• Silkscreening
• Global Issues in Design
• Corporate Design
• Advanced Studio Design
• Imaging for Designers
• Advanced Type Studio

I haven’t found a job in Fairfield yet. I may or may not be trying my hand at NYC again this semester, but either way it works out I’ll be happy.  Life is definitely on the up and up right now!
