I think if you are proud of the work that you are submitting, and feel strongly about it then there is no need to change it. However, what makes your grandmother ‘overlooked’ or ‘new’?

Hello. Sorry that I’m leaving a comment irrelevant to the entry, but I’m quite worried… I’m planning on applying for Parsons in year 2010, and I did the Parsons Challenge. However, my topic was my great-grandmother, who is, well, a person in my familiar surroundings. I presented her in the perspective of her child, herself, and the nurse/maid. Do you think I should redo my challenge since the theme is not an “object, event, activity, or location” that is “new” or “overlooked”? For the perspective of her child, I drew her sitting on her wheelchair. For the one of herself, I drew her putting on make-up. As for the last point of view, I drew her raising her fist, which she often does at the nurse/maid.
