My mom and I went through some old things today and found a really old suitcase full of my late great grandmothers things including; old shoes, gold watch, fur jacket cuffs, dictionary, dice, dinner bell, eyeglasses, and hair combs. She also used to be a notary and I found a really awesome notary punch from her home state of Alabama.

wow! what a great find! i would kill to find something like that from my great grandma. all i have is a necklace she gave me when i was born

It’s like a mini collection of who she was which is so neat! I’m named after her too so it’s that much more special to get to know her a little better.
