Kathryn Proulx is a multidisciplinary designer living in Fairfield, Connecticut. Currently my time is split between living and working in Connecticut and finishing my thesis work in Communication Design at Parsons School of Design in Manhattan.
Prior to now, I have been the design assistant at W Magazine, an award-winning fashion magazine published by Conde Nast, and the in-house designer and project manager for Art-Space, New Haven's premier contemporary art gallery.
Faux-beau.com is my avenue to share what I'm working on now, what inspires me, and to share my experience and advice to students who are interested in attending Parsons or art school in general.

Spring-Break Wrap Up

March 22nd, 2008 · 1 Comment

My man is still in the rain forest (read: Honduras) filming Blondes in the Jungle for another 9 days. While he has the time of his life climbing rocks and doin da damn thang I spent my spring vacation drawing him little pictures ( this one most likely a pre-sketch of an image for a future Zine with Luc) and wrote him a letter and I plan on mailing it to him so he can read it the night he comes home. I miss him! Echo memo!

I finally ordered a usb cord for my camera, lets hope the 6 dollars I spent for standard shipping was enough to get it here (pick up on that sarcasm!) within my lifetime. I hate ordering things online so much that I tried to buy a cord at Best Buy… obviously to come home, get “Marched,” and have it not fit. Whack!

My friends band Night Life finally started recording some new demos at Dexters Lab in Milford, CT and they have one new rough demo up on their myspace. I’m really into the jams, even moreso some of the tracks that haven’t been released yet. Hi Justin, Brian, Tyler, and Kenny!

I really do NOT want to go back to school this week!
